With the versatility to play as a two, three or four piece band, we provide an exciting sound with the strong melodic and rhythmic tones needed for ceilidh dancing blended with innovative harmonies to spice up the sound.
All dances are “called” i.e. described and even demonstrated if necessary beforehand so that everyone can have fun even if they have never been to a ceilidh before.
We also offer a full DJ service at no extra charge for those wishing to blend disco with the ceilidh experience.
Modern, high spec. sound equipment allows us to produce a crystal clear sound for vocals, and an exciting, driving sound for Scottish dance music and disco.
When you book the Loudon Ceilidh Band for your big event you get the full professional treatment. We liaise with you to ensure we have all your requirements covered regarding first dance and any other requests. The band arrives in good time to be set up and sound tested well in advance of agreed starting times.

The Band Members.
The two piece features founder members, Guy Wiley on lead accordion and Jennifer Wiley on keyboard and vocals.

Derek studied music at Sheffield University and now lectures in music technology, plays violin for Glasgow sinfonia and fiddles with the Clyde Coast Fiddle Orchestra. He produces a fine edgy sound with his electric fiddle.
